Side projects
A running list, most recent first — built to solve problems I actually had, not to pad a portfolio.
A personal AI assistant I'm building for myself, phase by phase — starting as a simple command-line chatbot and working toward persistent memory, voice, and eventually a set of specialized helpers handling different tasks in parallel.
The chat widget on this page is an early offshoot of the same project — a scoped, public-facing version that only answers questions about my work.
A gesture-controlled smart dashboard, embedded into a tabletop surface — built to solve a problem I actually had: critical daily information scattered across too many apps and devices. It consolidates health tracking, financial portfolio monitoring, commute intelligence, calendar and productivity data into a single ambient interface, eliminating the need to context-switch across separate apps just to see the shape of your day.
I defined the product vision, UX architecture and system design end to end, then integrated third-party data sources — Strava for activity, Todoist for tasks, and live financial market feeds — into gesture-based interactions on an embedded computer running beneath the table surface.
